John Clare comes to WITF-FM 89.5 from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he served as Classical Program Manager for KNPR-FM / KCNV-FM. In addition, he was a Producer/Announcer at KMUW-FM at Wichita State University, and Producer in the Cultural Programming division for National Public Radio.
He was named “Best Radio On Air Talent” at the 2004 Electronic Media Awards. Clare is an accomplished professional violinist and violist, and is the founder of the Las Vegas Chamber Music Society.
